Programming To Die at Age 65?
While a lot of us are or will continue to work at age 65 and beyond because we love it — or because we have to, and some of us hope to enjoy retirement at this young age, the government believes we should start dying. The House version of the health care bill (HR3200) includes instruction and consultation about the end of life to begin at age 65. And there is a mandated program for end of life — an "End of Life Order" and the government will choose what doctors can prescribe it and what level of treatment you will have at your "end of life!"
Truth is this appears to be another boondoggle thanks to numbered points in the bill that only House representatives can decipher. But the fact is, the subject is part of the bill.
Holy cow! So if Congress believes we should start dying at age 65, perhaps there should be a limit on the age of representatives in the House and Senate and we should force retirement at age 65. After all, we shouldn't have half dead gurus passing laws on our behalf. (And they should be tested for Altzheimers and Dementia). Of course, they can force deliver a ridiculous plan without batting an eye because they have a totally separate and lavish health care coverage of their own and retirement incomes that are just as outrageous as Wall Street bonuses. And guess who is paying for this? Of course we are!
Do you think 65 is a good age to start programming yourself for death? Sound off about this one and if you are so inclined, include your age.
Was the 1973 feature film, "Soylent Green," predictive? Could there be a government 'dying place' for your "end of life?" Take a look. I find this chilling in the year 2009.
