Thomas Paine Invites You To The Second American Revolution September 12

"Society in every state is a blessing, but government, even in its best stage, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one." Thomas Paine.

He was born in Thetford , England on January 29, 1737 and he's back. Yes, Thomas Paine is on the Internet with some powerful words that are helping to spirit Americans to the second American Revolution. If you know anything about this 18th Century author, you are no doubt familiar with his works, Common Sense and The Rights of Man, among others.

His writings and defense of America's independence from England brought inspiration from some. His views of religion brought rejection from others. He was somewhat of an entrepreneur and at one point tried working on a smokeless candle.

Paine's claim to fame, to this day, are his writings and many of his quotes, including "The government is best which governs least," and "Reason obeys itself; and ignorance submits to whatever is dictated to it." Timely words, aren't they? Government is too big and there are too many blind followers.

Thanks to actor, Bob Basso, Thomas Paine is back.
