Mr. President: Silence Is Not Always Golden!

Today, Sunday, you issued a short, really short comment about the shooting last week of Michigan anti-abortion activist, Jame Pouillon. I think you called the shooting "deplorable." Well it is. This non-violent man in his 60's just stood in the same places holding a sign year-after-year. Of course this killing was deplorable and no one can criticize you for saying so.

But where in the world are your comments about last week's arms deal between Venezuela and Russia? It's a $2.2 billion deal for Chavez to purchase 92 Russian-made T-72 tanks and anti-aircraft missile launching systems on credit. Chavez uses the excuse that the U.S. is planning an invasion. But then I realize that this Marxist is a friend of yours.

Nor did you comment on last week's news that one of the world's most wanted terrorists, “Jafar the Pilot,” leader of al Qaeda’s desire for a nuclear attack after 911, is moving around with a Saudi diplomatic passport, according to nationalterroralert.com. This "terrorist" has a $5 million bounty on his head and it is pretty well known that he would like to attack us with nuclear weopons.

Of course, you seem to ignore a lot of events that would dictate a response — like the recent mass trials in Iran.

And what about the departure of Van Jones? He was one of your personal appointments. Cat got your tongue?
